Terms &
Conditions.
These terms apply when you purchase or use The Accord Method online course and member area.
Last updated 24 August 2026
1. About us
The Accord Method is an independent online whisky-blending education service operated from Ireland. You can contact the course owner at oisin@accord-method.com or through the Contact page.
These terms do not limit any mandatory rights you have under Irish or EU consumer law.
2. What you receive
Your purchase gives you personal access to the course described on the sales page, including the available video lessons, written lesson material, downloadable resources, knowledge checks and member features.
“Lifetime access” means ongoing access for the operating life of The Accord Method course. We aim to maintain access for the long term. If the service must close, we will give reasonable notice where possible and make suitable downloadable material available where practical.
3. Price and payment
The total price is shown before you pay. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. Promotion codes apply only where valid and cannot be exchanged for cash.
You are responsible for providing accurate purchase and contact details. Course access is tied to the email address used at checkout.
4. Delivery and access
Access is prepared automatically after successful payment. You sign in using the purchase email and a secure email link. You must not share, sell or transfer your account or access links.
Reasonable maintenance, security work or events outside our control may occasionally interrupt the service. We will act reasonably to restore access.
5. Cancellation and refunds
If you are buying as a consumer, you may cancel within 14 days of purchase where the statutory right applies. You do not need to give a reason. Use the Contact page and include the email used to purchase. Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
Separate rights may apply if digital content is faulty, unavailable or not as described. Read the full Cancellation & Refund Policy.
6. Permitted use
The course is for your personal, non-commercial learning. You may download resources expressly offered for download and use them personally. You may not copy, record, reproduce, publish, sell, teach from or distribute course videos, captions, text, quizzes, downloads, branding or account access without written permission.
7. Educational scope
The course provides education and practical guidance. Results vary and no particular tasting, blending, commercial or financial outcome is guaranteed. You must comply with local alcohol laws, use alcohol responsibly and never participate while under the legal drinking age.
8. Ending access
We may suspend or end access where there is fraud, unlawful use, abusive behaviour, serious security risk or a material breach of these terms. We will act proportionately and, where appropriate, give you an opportunity to resolve the issue.
9. Changes and law
We may update these terms when the course or law changes. Material changes will not remove rights already acquired through a completed purchase. These terms are governed by Irish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence.
